Very recently, it was reported that 9,10-bis(p-alkoxystyryl) anthracences only with sufficient long alkyl chains (decyl, undecyl and dodecyl) are effective PFC materials;10i in contrast, the shorter alkyl-containing 9,10-bis[(N-alkylcarbazol-3-yl)vinyl] anthracenes show more remarkable PFC behaviour.13 These two forms of chain length-dependent PFC behaviour underline not only the complexity of the structure–property relationship of PFC materials but also the signicant effect of the nature ofend-arylenes and substituents at the aryl rings on the solidstate fluorescence and piezochromic luminescence of 9,10- bis(arylvinyl)anthracene derivatives. To further understand this phenomenon and develop new PFC materials, in the current work, we have designed and synthesized some AIE-active 9,10- bis[(9,9-dialkyluorene-2-yl)vinyl]anthracenes with propyl, pentyl and dodecyl as side alkyl chains (FLA-Cn, Scheme 1) to investigate their fluorescence properties. We report here that FLA-Cn not only exhibit chain length-dependent PFC behaviour, in that longer alkyl-containing FLA-Cn show larger spectral shifts, but also the fluorescence color and emission of ground FLA-C12 solid can recover spontaneously at room temperature. |

| 最近,据报道,9,10 - 双(对 - 烷氧基苯乙烯基)蒽只有具有足够长的烷基链(癸基,十一烷基和十二烷基)时才是有效的PFC材料【10】与此相对,9,10-双[(N-烷基咔唑-3 - 基)乙烯基]蒽含有更短的烷基链时具有更卓越的PFC性能【13】。这两种形式的链长依赖性的PFC性能不仅说明了PFC材料的结构 - 性能关系的复杂性,而且末端亚芳基和芳环上的取代基的性质对9,10-二(芳基乙烯基)蒽衍生物固态荧光和压致变色发光的显著影响。为了进一步理解这种现象,并开发新的PFC材料,在本工作中我们设计并合成了一些AIE活性9,10-双[(9,9 - 二烷基芴-2 - 基)乙烯基]蒽和丙基,戊基和十二烷基作为侧烷基链(FLA-Cn,方案1),以研究它们的荧光性质。我们在本文报告,FLA-Cn不仅具有链长度依赖性PFC性能,因为FLA-Cn中烷基链越长,光谱移位越大,而且荧光色和研磨FLA-C12的固态发光可在室温下自发地恢复。 |
