PRB投稿求助 已有1人参与

前段时间投了一篇PRB，第一轮编辑找了3个审稿人，只有1个审稿人返回审稿意见。意见比较negative，但审稿人只是提出文章有待改进的几个地方。我们按照这些意见对文章进行了修改，并且全部回答了审稿人的问题。但是第二轮编辑没有送审直接退稿，编辑回信如下。像这种情况还有必要申诉吗？是不是只能改投了？ Dear Dr. ***, We have considered your recent resubmission letter.Regrettably, the referee report in the first round of review was rather negative, and we are not persuaded to pursue further consideration of this manuscript. Our policies and practices require that the review process is in general restricted to two rounds of review. In cases when referee recommendations in the first round are negative and we do not anticipate that the referees will be reversing their recommendations in the second round, we conclude the review after the first round of review. Unfortunately, we do not anticipate that a positive decision can be reached in this case, at least not on an acceptable time scale. Therefore, we respectfully suggest that you resubmit this work to another journal. If you disagree with this decision, you can formally appeal this decision.
