课题项目用B1签被check41天，得到IVO问卷回复，请教如何催签已有4人参与

9月3日上海面的B1签，看人头项目对方学校建议我们以Undertake independent research的名义申请B1，但是一行8位中有4位被check，1位被要求改J签。（教训是能看到华裔签证官一定要不顾引导员指示去找华裔！） 我们填了IVO的Online Visa Questionnaire，并且收到回复说10月15日会把case报给U.S. Department of State。 目前只是问过护照的位置，还没有通过其他方法催过签证。 请问现在发邮件/打电话/发传真到大使馆说明情况会不会有帮助？需要三种方法一起用吗？谢谢各位！祝一切顺利！ |

这段时间被签证弄得心烦气乱，不过也积累了很多经验。下面把各个和行政审查有关的联系方式都整理了一下，大家时不时去联系各部门，以达到催签的效果。 1. 美国国务院(Department of States)，电话：001-202-485-7600.需开通国际长途才可拨打。拨号后听到一个男声，先按1，听到声音后再按0，即可接通客服，会告知签证状态。一定要死缠烂打，看他/她会不会愿意帮你查询签证在哪处理、处理到哪一步； 2. 上海领事馆，客服代表电话：(+86) 021-5191-5200，会告知签证状态，要说明你的紧急情况，让他/她把你的出发日期添加到case中； 3. 上海领事馆邮箱：ShanghaiNIV@state.gov，但是不回复； 4. 上海领事馆网页联系方式：http://shanghai-ch.usembassy-china.org.cn/visas/contact-us.html 在这个网站上填写你们的信息，再填写message text，会收到回复，要诚恳一点，以求工作人员看到会帮你催促审查进度； 5. 电子邮件联系客服代表：support-china@ustraveldocs.com，会告知签证状态，要说明你的紧急情况，让他/她把你的出发日期添加到case中。 |

OR You have applied for a B1 visa to come to the United States for science-related activities and your application is pending 14 days prior to the U.S. event’s start date.
