Postdoctoral Positions on Energy Materials available at a GO8 University in Aust
|
We have a new opportunity in 2015 for an outstanding researcher with expertise in the areas of Solid State Hydrogen Storage. Our university is a member of Go8 in Australia http://www.go8.edu.au/ . If successful, you will be appointed at the Research Fellow Level A (>A$76,000 or ¥450,000 pa, including 9% employer superannuation). You will conduct high-level independent research in the areas of hydrogen storage alloys. The successful candidate will be expected to report to work in January 2015. The contract will be initially for one year, with a possibly to extended to a second year or further. To be considered, you will have advanced understanding and skills in the theory, design, fabrication and applications of advanced alloys for hydrogen storage. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in physics, electrochemistry, materials science, engineering or related fields are invited to apply. You should have a very strong publication record in order to be competitive. Fresh PhD graduates, except with an outstanding track record, are unlikely to be considered. You will also possess sound interpersonal skills, along with excellent English written and oral communication skills. You will conduct high-level independent research in the areas of energy materials and nanomaterials. To be considered, you will have advanced understanding and skills in the theory and applications of advanced materials or thin films for energy devices. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in physics, electrochemistry, materials science, engineering or related fields are invited to apply. You should have a very strong publication record in order to be competitive. You will also possess sound interpersonal skills, along with excellent English written and oral communication skills.
