THE HONG KONG POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF TEXTILES AND CLOTHING Post Specification Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate (Ref. 14091112) [Appointment period: nine months] Duties The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Development of the technology and equipment for manufacturing auxetic spacer fabrics in industrial scale”. Qualifications Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree in Structural Mechanics / relevant areas or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than three years of post-qualification experience at the time of application. Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree in Structural Mechanics / relevant areas or a good honours degree with at least three years of research/relevant work experience. Applicants should also have: (a) good research experience in structural analysis and simulation; and (b) good publication record and good writing in English.
