此推荐信如何修改与润色 已有2人参与

小弟准备让自己研究生导师写封推荐信，导师答应了，但是信要自己写。于是乎我左拼右凑，东抄西摘，绞尽脑汁终于搞定第一封套磁信（实在没啥亮点）。 现在问题来了（不是挖掘机。。。），小弟第一次写这个，没啥经验，不知道这信在结构，格式，语气，内容等方面是否有需要修改的地方。 于是只好来万能的小木虫求教各位大神了，希望大家不吝赐教，谢谢大家！祝大家国庆愉快！ To whom it may concern, I’m a professor of XXX University and XXX is my former graduate student whom I conducted the study and research in his graduate school. I’m very glad to recommend him to your group in XXX University when I learned about his interest in your research concerning XXX. As the supervisor of XXX in his graduate school, I have had the opportunity to watch this young man developed both academically and personally into a mature individual prepared for further study in engineering. XXX is a very diligent and smart student in the research work and study in my laboratory. His research work in the analysis of XXX constitutes an important part of the work in my group. His work primarily included the design of experiment methods and procedures and the verification of ideas using matlab. He frequently raised critical questions and innovative notions in his work. Though paper was not able to be published in time before his graduation, I still affirm and appreciate his academic ability, enthusiasm and potential. In addition, his sturdy programming skills gave me deep impression. As far as I know, XXX has learned substantial programming knowledge independently, like C++, Data Structure and Algorithm Design, some of which are beyond the requirement for his graduation. His programming skill and experience were practiced and accumulated in my laboratory and his work after graduation. Actually, he became the most skilled programmer in my laboratory and many students, not only in my laboratory, turned to him for help in their programming assignments or projects. XXX also performed commendably in his classes. He always shows quick learning abilities and independent thinking about the knowledge and questions. His good grades on final exams indicate his strong ability to learn and understand the material in the classes. His performance and ability in mathematics are especially excellent and recommendable. He ranked top in virtually all the exams of mathematics related courses. XXX is a very concentrated and prepense person from my observation in his three years laboratory study and life. He organized and executed schedules efficiently and steadfastly, and this can be reflected by his reasonable time distribution between his laboratory work and personal interest and promotion. He always gives himself more and stricter requirements and achieves his targets in an orderly way. Based on his outstanding performance and potential, I highly recommend XXX to your group. I enthusiastically believe his analytical thoroughness, professional skills and diligent and systematical personalities could contribute significantly in your program. To whom it may concern.接下来首句应该写这封信的目的，是为了推荐学生去读博。 另起一段，简略介绍自己的title和如何认识这个学生(你写的那句还不错)。接下来写你留给导师印象深刻的地方，主要是科研习惯和科研思维的良好体现，我个人觉得不要用affirm和appreciate，因为导师介绍学生用这个词感觉有点夸大和吹捧你，建议从字里行间流露出对你的认可，然后再突出你的特质，比如说你的专业基础知识很扎实，同时很乐于解决问题及帮助他人，可在此强调一下团队精神。不要用过多的形容词堆砌高大上的形象，也不要用导师的口吻说相信你一定会怎么怎么样。因为这个思维模式是典型的中国小学生开始学写作的模式。用词要诚恳，表达的意思到位即可。试着去掉多余的修饰，也许更能体现写作者的赞赏。拙见，如有不对还请原谅。 [ 发自手机版 http://muchong.com/3g ] |
