Research Scientist Position for gas sensors project
A Research scientist position is available at NUSRI (National University of Singapore Research Institute) in Suzhou Industry Park. The project goal is to develop portable and commercial gas sensors for indoor air detection (currently the gases to be detected includes formaldehyde, alcohol and CO). The selected candidate will work together with Prof. He Jinghui and under the co-supervision of Prof. Chen Wei (Department of Chemistry, NUS and NUSRI) and Prof. Xu Guo Qin (Department of Chemistry, NUS and NUSRI).

Requirement:
(1) a PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental science
(2) Substantial research experience and excellent academic track record (publications and patents).
(3) The ability to set up experimental platforms and write grant applications.

Recruitment package:
1 year initial contract (extendable based on performance);
Salary: 100K~140K RMB/year +medical insurance+ CPF,

Position is immediately available from August 2014 onwards
