Langmuir文章接收后的ACS Author Rewards 已有2人参与

请问各位大神，小虫是材料方向的博二学生。7月份投过一篇Langmuir的文章，后来8-9月进行大修，前两天编辑说接受了，谢天谢地。。。可是有个问题来了，他又发过来两封邮件，内容如下： 邮件1： Have you heard of ACS Author Rewards? ACS Author Rewards will provide the published corresponding author of each peer-reviewed article published in 2014 with two $750 credits (total rewards value of $1500 per article published). These credits can be applied (or shared with others for redemption) toward any future ACS AuthorChoice [ http://acsopenaccess.org/acs-authorchoice/ ] open access publishing service (with no limit on the number of credits that can be accumulated during 2014). Credits may be redeemed from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017. ACS Author Rewards is a program designed to encourage authors to choose open access when publishing in ACS journals. During a time when funder and institutional public access requirements are still in flux and vary widely from country to country or institution to institution, ACS Author Rewards is designed to assist researchers in sponsoring the open availability of the published article as the version of record. Credits will be accessible through your ACS ChemWorx account on or before January 1, 2015. Don’t have an ACS ChemWorx account? Enroll for free at http://www.acschemworx.org. To learn more about this and other ACS Open Access initiatives visit http://acsopenaccess.org/. 邮件2： Dear *****, Congratulations on your recently accepted manuscript in Langmuir. Are you interested in making your final published article open access? Our ACS AuthorChoice program offers flexible, easy, and cost-effective options - order online now. Take advantage of discounts and exclusive benefits: ACS membership entitles you to a 50% discount on any ACS AuthorChoice program (Not an ACS member? Join today). Your institutional affiliation may qualify you for additional discounts. ACS will deposit your ACS AuthorChoice article into a repository of your choosing; see ACS Certified Deposit for details and instructions. Here's more good news! The corresponding author named in each article published in 2014 will receive ACS Author Rewards credits with a value of $1,500 per article, redeemable in 2015-2017 against ACS AuthorChoice fees. 其实大概意思，就是该杂志退出了一个OA的机制，然后问你愿不愿交OA这个钱。 现在看来，这杂志还没有完全实施这个方案，楼主抓紧时间回信啊，反正不交得了。毕竟谁愿意出出这么多钱open access. 给个链接，楼主看到就知道了。 http://www.editorhome.cn/openaccess/17156/ee5f826e-76e7-45db-bd37-4a5e5a03a57c.aspx ACS正在引入一个奖励制度,对于2014年在ACS订阅期刊发表的每篇论文的通讯作者赋予相应的信誉得分，其价值相当于每篇论文1500美元，我本人估计其效果类似于商场、超市搞促销活动发放的购物卷，1500美元/篇仅限于用来支付ACS任何OA期刊发表论文的费用，从2015年开始,直到2017年有效.作者也可以选择直接OA或延迟12个月再OA。 |
