PhD Position, Lamar Univ. TX. US.

The research group of Dr. Tao Wei in Chemical Engineering Department at Lamar University (http://engineering.lamar.edu/chemical/) in US has one PhD position openings for 2015. The research group will work on materials design (polymers, biological materials and nano-porous materials) with multi-scale simulations (mesoscopic, atomistic and quantum simulations) in combination with experiments. Anyone who is interested please contact Dr. Wei (twei@lamar.edu). Requirements: 1) Disciplinary background is open, and those from Chemical Engineering, Materials, Computer Science, EE, Chemistry, Mechanics, Physics, Bio., CS are welcome to apply; 2) Interest in computational work, and research experience in programming, simulations (such as CFD and ab initio) and numerical computations. Students accepted will receive full financial support, with tuition fee waived. 3) GRE score is available |
