1、Scientist / Investigator CADD
Job Description:
A Research Investigator position is available for a highly-motivated scientist to join a Chemoinformatics/CADD group for Drug Discovery Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to perform cutting-edge research in an industry setting at our China NIBR site. You will be responsible for the analysis and development of HTS screening hits using state of the art chemometrics and systems biology approaches, and for the protein analysis and simulation (with the ligand) using MD and molecular docking.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Master/PhD degree in computational chemistry, computational biology or a related field, with at least 2 years of industry experience
• Familiarity with up-to-date biological screening paradigms.
• A proven track record in leveraging in silico techniques to drive basic science projects or in impacting hit finding activities in a drug discovery environment.
• A solid understanding of chemometrics, which includes QSAR methodologies, data mining and visualization, protein simulation, molecular docking, library design, conformational analysis, pharmacophore development, 2D and 3D similarity.
• A good understanding of bioinformatics and computational biology including gene expression data analysis and mining biological pathways to enhance target knowledge (GeneGO, Ingenuity).
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently as effectively as being able to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and scientific creativity are essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills are required.

2、Informatics Scientist
Key job responsibilities include:
•Work with drug R&D projects identifying and delivering informatics solutions to address data management, analysis and information interpretation challenges
•Proactively engage and lead in knowledge sharing and peer support to build R&D knowledge and expertise in the tools and techniques critical to Informatics/Information Science
•Work with software developers / architects to rapidly and iteratively develop generic tools and solutions to address the needs of drug discovery priority projects
•Contribute to and lead local and global informatics projects or service areas
•Identify and lead engagements with external partners in the delivery of informatics components
•Work collaboratively with Informaticians/Information Scientists to deliver scientific information platforms, database systems, processes, tools and techniques to solve scientific problems.
Requirements:
•PhD or MSc in Bio/Chem/Medical Informatics, Life Science, Computer Science or equivalent experience
•Expertise in one or more informatics capabilities, such as

Bioinformatics supporting:
oGenomics, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Imaging & Proteomic
oTarget Identification & Validation
oBiomarker Identification & Validation
oPatient selection
oCompound safety prediction & translation.

Cheminformatics supporting:
oCompound Design, Make, Test, Analyse cycles
oCompound synthesis
oIn vitro/in vivo screening workflows
oModeling & Simulation supporting

Modeling & Simulation supporting:
oDMPK Modeling
oPathway analysis
oPhysiological modeling
