Poor English- Frustrated

Just paticipated a meeting that needs my opinions ragarding to the equipments within our group, I mentioned many things in discussion, but after that, I regret for what I have said. Poor oral English cann't extractly express my meaning. Bad feeling! Opps, I want to improve my English in short time. God, Help me! |

What "equipment" are you talking about? Please show pictures so I can maybe write a script for you... BEFORE your next meeting I assume by "opinion" you mean "hands-on experience" with certain equipment (?) Use of most lab equipment are described in "Lab Procedure" or "User's Manual" - Highlight the steps you want to talk about - Add in your opinions - Tape record yourself reading the combined text - Play back a few times until you are comfortable - GO TO BED - Stand in front of mirror and read what you liked best from the night before - GO TO THE MEETING |

Opinion here is not extractly meaning what you descriped. Actually I am a member of team which would support the transiation of our company move to a new campus. What I need to do is coordinate the work between scientists in lab and opration team. I need give some feedback about many equipments in our lab such as: FACS, Liquid-hanleing, Janus, Clonepix, Minitrak, Mirror-ball, Hamilton automation system.... It is very hard to descripe them clearly to people out of lab  |

Most lab equipment cost an arm and a leg Calibration is often unavoidable, and calibration of old machines is always problematic A major move can be once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet equipment company specialists face-to-face and talk about maintenance issues If the equipment company or their authorized dealer did not send a Chinese-speaking rep, call and ask for one Gently remind the company about their competition, and how you "... are ready to stick with ___ Equipment Corp forever" if they would just send you someone fluent in Chinese What I described above is NOT a "special request" and shouldn't cost extra to have equipment company staff on-site |
