Table 3. Comparison of operational condition for 2010 vs. 2012
Table 3 presents the differences in operation between 2010 and 2012.
As shown in the table, the number heating day was smaller, but the amount  of empty ladle time was longer in 2010 in comparison with 2012,
which is directly connected with the big changes in temperature of the ladle. Therefore, we have applied the AS castables with excellent thermal
stability,  which resulted in the good achievement.
In order to meet the demand for increase of life time of steel ladle, we have carried out a field test after selecting the ASM (B) as a substitute for
  AS (A) on the basis of material properties. However, a spalling began to appear from the value of 100heats  when the ASM (B) was applied.
Consequently, the life time was reduced by 5% due to spalling in comparison with the existing AS (A). In order to analyze  the cause of
spalling a XRD analysis was carried out by sampling from the hot face and interface parts.

表3 展示了2010和2012年运转的差异
如表所示,对比2012年,2010年中加热天数少了,但浇桶浇完时间更长, 这与盛钢桶温度的剧变直接相关。因此,我们使用了热稳定性佳的AS浇注材料,取得了很好的效果。为了满足钢水包寿命增加的需求,基于材料特性,进行现场测试时,我们用ASM (B)代替了AS (A),然而从100次加热开始,散裂就开始出现了。所以,对比含有AS(A)的,因出现了散裂其寿命就减少了5%。 为了分析散裂产生原因,我们在加热面件和交界面件样品上进行了CRD分析。
