昨天下午发了套磁的邮件，今天就收到了6封回信 已有8人参与

| 昨天下午发的电子邮件，大概有12封，今天收到6封回信，有2封是拒绝的，说近期没有这样的机会。其他的都不是直接答应，而是要求填写他们学校访问学者的申请表格。其中还有一个学校负责访问学者事务的行政人员回信表示，申请人在获得学校允许其作为访问学者的资格前，原则上是不允许和教授本人接触的。只有在通过申请后，学校才会帮忙联系sponsor。现在申请访学都是这样的吗？BTW，我是法学专业的。 |

I completed my J.D. degree requirement from XXX in 2007, and I am currently an associate professor in XXX in China. Now I have a funding opportunity for conducting overseas research in the scholarship program called "government-sponsored visiting scholar research", which is launched by China Scholarship Council. By that the fee for my studying and living abroad will be totally supported by China Scholarship Council. During my J.D. study at XXX and thereafter, I have been doing research in the field of XXX. I know that you have deep interest in this area, and I wish to have the opportunity to work with you. Since the costs of this trip will be sponsored by Chinese Government, I only need an invitation letter from you indicating you are willing to be the advisor and XXX is going to be the host university.
