MicroRNAs regulate expression of their targets by controlling RNA stability or translation regulation. Although steady-state RNA levels (as determined by RNA blots) suggested that ids1 transcription could be regulated by ts4 both cleavage analysis andsemiquantitative RT-PCR did not show any significant difference between the wild type and ts4 mutants. |
