Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
|
|
Have you ever seen the ¡°Rise of the Planet of the Apes¡±? If so, this sequel won¡¯t let you down. I watched the movie last night, it¡¯s a good science fiction film. Caesar is a mature leader in this film, he led the ape groups authoritatively and humanized. He doesn¡¯t wanna fight with humans but prompted by Koba, a scarred bonobo who holds a grudge against humans for his mistreatment, Caesar brings a large group of apes to the city where humans live in, he demands that the humans stay in their territory and states the apes will stay in theirs, too. For humans, the thing is, they need electric energy to sustain their life, which needs the hydroelectric dam that belongs to the aps¡¯ territory. A man called Malcolm convinces people to give him three days to reconcile with Caesar, whom he believed is kind-hearted and intelligent . Caesar agreed with his idea, provided they surrender their guns. Koba discovers the armory in humans' territory and questioned Caesar¡¯s allegiance to apes. In response, Caesar heavily beats Koba, but since he does not kill other apes he chooses to forgive him. Koba then returns to the armory, steals weapons and murders two human guards. The dam is eventually repaired, restoring power to the city. During the celebration, Koba sets fire to the apes' home. Then while unseen by anyone else, Koba shoots Caesar in the chest, causing him to fall from the settlement's main tree. Then Koba orders the apes to war against the humans. The apes plunder the armory and charge the gates. Despite heavy casualties, the apes breach the gates using a hijacked tank, Koba imprisons all the humans and the apes who are loyal to Caesar. Malcolm's group finds Caesar barely alive and Caesar reveals that it¡¯s Koba who shot him, realizing his notion that all apes were better than humans was naive. Afterwards, the caged humans and the apes loyal to Caesar were set free by Caesar¡¯s son, who knew the truth. The freed apes join Caesar and confront Koba at the summit of the tower. Caesar overpowers Koba, knocking him to the edge of the tower. Koba reminds Caesar that apes do not kill apes, but Caesar proclaims that Koba is no longer an ape, and lets him fall to his death. Malcolm informs Caesar of the impending arrival of human military reinforcements. Both lament the lost opportunity for peace. Caesar tells Malcolm that the humans will never forgive the apes for the war they started and waits for the battle to come bravely. That¡¯s the end. There¡¯s a vote on the internet to investigate that you want the apes win or humans win, most netizens choose the former. |
