Title: Manager of formulation development Location: shanghai Report to: VP Subordinates: 3-5 Responsibilities: The manager of formulation development involves in the development of formulation, delivery, freeze-drying process for biological drug products. The responsibilities of this person include: Lead a group to complete assigned development tasks in the areas described above in a tight time line; Develop processes that are transferrable to pilot plant and manufacturing; Interact with other groups and departments and work collaboratively; Write technical reports and make presentations inside company and outside; Conduct literature and patent search and support IP department; Prepare technical registration documents for regulatory submission; Identify and work with CROs and CMOs when needed; Occasional travels are needed. Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skills and capability: Have a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, or other related areas with a minimum 5 years working experience in formulation development, the experience in biological drug product development is preferred; Have solid knowledge and experience on process development and scale-up; Familiar with GMP and GLP requirements and environments; Have demonstrated management and inter-personal skills, must be a team player; Good at speaking and writing in both Chinese and English. |
