美国佐治亚州立大学(Georgia State University)诚邀生物化学-结构生物学访问学者
|
The Metallobiochemistry Lab (PI: Prof. Aimin Liu) in the Department of Chemistry at Georgia State University has current NIH- and NSF-sponsored research projects spanning a wide range of topics, such as metalloenzyme mechanisms, metabolic pathways (such as tryptophan kynurenine pathway), and redox stress-linked transcriptional activation and gene regulation (For more details, see : http://Feradical.gsu.edu). We have established expertise in protein biochemistry, biophysical spectroscopy, enzyme mechanisms, chemical biology, and redox-linked biochemistry. We have recently acquired structural biology tools and are specialized in solving crystal structures of reactive intermediates. We publish only in leading journals (with the exception of some of the papers submitted by our collaborators or invited review articles). Now, we have been facing some real challenges in determining some protein-protein and protein-DNA complex structures. Thus, we sincerely invite structural biology experts to visit our lab. If any established individual, with extensive experience and proven record of success in biological macromolecular crystallography (结构生物学), is interested in visiting our lab for 0.5 - 3 years, please send a copy of your CV/resume to Email: Feradical@gsu.edu. We will be able to provide financial support for your visit if you were unable to obtain monetary support from the CSC and local government. Your inquiries will be promptly responded. This reputed lab is under significant expansion, with four new graduate students joining the lab next month (one more in January 2015). We are also actively searching two or three postdoctoral fellows (see http://Feradical.gsu.edu/Postdoc_StructuralBiology.pdf & (http://feradical.gsu.edu/Postdoc_MolecularBiology.pdf) to further expand our research capacity. |
