[交流] 路径优化方向论文讨论

我是学GIS的，在学习基于成本表面进行路径优化方面的文章。
目前在看一篇名为“transportation， social physics， and the law of refraction”的文章，该文章是1957年发表的。在Douglas的文章“Least-cost path in GIS using an accumulated cost surface and slopelines”中是这样评价这篇文章的：“He introuces the notion of an accumulation cost surface and notes that once the surface is correctly calculated,a short-est path on it is a slope line drawn from departure point to destination.” 看到这样的评价后，感觉应该是一篇经典，但今天我阅读这篇文章时却没找到cost surface 的只言片语。

感觉是自己英语差，没看懂，希望哪位看懂这篇的提供一些信息、见解，如果有益必追加金币。
