美国表面物理博士后机会，帮朋友发帖，有意者请与实验室负责人直接联系： Post-doc position in the Interface and Surface Science Laboratory at the Department of Physics, University of South Florida, Tampa, USA Our group conducts ultra high vacuum surface science investigations of metal oxide surfaces relevant for chemical transformations (i.e. photo-, or heterogeneous- catalysis), as well as characterization of surface and interface properties of two-dimensional materials, mainly graphene. In our laboratory we combine vacuum sample preparation, especially thin film growth methods, with surface science characterization. The emphasis of our research lies in atomic scale surface structure and defects of these materials. To this end we employ ultra high vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy and complement it with other surface science characterization methods. We are currently in the process of expanding our experimental capabilities by acquisition of a new multitechnique surface science ultra high vacuum system that will also include a Q-plus scanning probe microscope for the investigation of poorly conducting oxide surfaces. The ideal candidate has experience in surface analytical methods and a PhD-degree in chemistry, physics, or materials science. Importantly, he/she has in-depth experience with UHV-STM.
