请问大家下面的句子符合语法？to develop 前面是否可以省略is？谢谢。 The paper is to model the phenomena, and to develop a numerical algorihm based on the model. |

如果这句The paper is to model the phenomena是对的，to develop 前面是否可以省略is，甚至可以连to一起省略。The paper is to model the phenomena, and develop a numerical algorihm based on the model. 但感觉The paper is to model the phenomena有点问题，似乎应该为The paper is aimed to model the phenomena.但不知楼主想要表达的意思，不好下结论。 |

赞同RXMCDM斑竹的意见。不过感觉上，这个还是有点不够深度。 自己尝试下改写了下： This paper provides a novel model for the xxxx phenomena. Based on our new model, a numerical algorithm is developed to find a solution to xxxxx(problem)。 其实个人感觉你这句话很肤浅，没有直接戳中你的论文所要解决的问题，建议加上你要针对的问题，老外还是比较喜欢开门见山的方式。另外中文的这句话表达还有点逻辑的问题。为什么新模型就一定要有数值算法来解？可能不同学科之间差异比较大，不懂。 再等高人吧…… |
