ÓÑÇéÌáʾ£º¸ÃÔÓÖ¾Õ÷ÊÕ°æÃæ·Ñ£¡ Mesoporous and Microporous Nanomaterials in Catalysis Call for Papers Microporous and mesoporous materials, like zeolites, have been widely employed as catalysts in chemical industry, including traditional petrochemical and fine-chemical industry as well as emerging biorefinery, due to their extended surface area, unique pore structure, and modifiable surface functionality. Nanosized mesoporous and microporous materials, which have higher specific surface area and shorter pore pathway, are considered to be promising candidates for high-performance catalysts in terms of both selectivity and activity and thus have received considerable interests in the field of catalysis. Recent advances in this area, including the novel synthetic approaches for mesoporous and microporous nanomaterials, as well as the in-depth understanding in their structure-performance relationships in catalysis, led to a new opportunity to design novel catalysts and catalytic processes. We invite investigators to contribute their original research articles as well as comprehensive review articles that will arouse the continuing research on the synthetic innovations, the formation mechanisms, the structural characterizations, and catalytic applications. We are particularly interested in articles describing synthetic methodology and associated formation mechanism study, and structure-performance relationship in microporous and mesoporous nanomaterials, as well as advanced characterization approaches and theoretical tools for structural characterization. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Recent development in novel synthetic approaches of mesoporous and microporous nanomaterials Advances in the structure characterization of zeolites The synthesis, characterization, and catalytic property studies in ordered mesoporous nanomaterials The exploration of catalytic applications of mesoporous and microporous nanomaterials Theoretical investigations on the formation mechanisms and structural evolution of microporous and mesoporous nanomaterials Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal¡¯s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jnm/guidelines/.
