关于“With Editor”的解释 已有4人参与

投稿经常会遇到“With Editor”,本人以亲身经验说一下“With editor”的原因和时间长短。编辑的回信如下： When a submission is made in the journal, the editor-in-chief of the Journal, will usually take one to two weeks to screen the paper and then decide which Associate Editor (AE) is the most appropriate to handle the submission. The assigned AE may take another two to four weeks to screen the paper and decide whether the paper fits well with the aims and scope of the Journal and is of sufficient quality or to be sent out for a full review or be desk-rejected. That's why a paper may be sitting on the dashboard as "With Editor" for four to six weeks before moving onto the next stage.
