Research Assistant Position in Biophotonics, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Position: Research Assistant Position in Biophotonics Organization: Nanyang Technological University Location: Singapore Deadline: Open until filled Description: Dr. Liu Quan’s laboratory in the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a qualified person for one research assistant/project officer position in the field of biophotonics. This laboratory focuses on the development of novel biomedical optics/biophotonics techniques for medical diagnostics. The responsibilities of the project officer will include lab maintenance and participating in project development. The person will have an opportunity to get trained in optical experiments, spectroscopic data analysis and clinical/animal studies. The salary will be determined in accordance with NTU’s policy. The initial contract will be one year and could be extended. The candidate will have an opportunity and be encouraged to change to a PhD student. Qualifications: The candidate should have 1) Bachelor degree in engineering or relate fields; 2) some experience in the use of standard C, Matlab or Labview programming.
