What the drawing is trying to portray is that two handicapped people are depending on each other while the crutch is left behind them. The picture seems to be humorous and preposterous but thought –provoking on second thoughts, which serves to remind us that cooperation is of utmost significance and without it, the society we live in can not going smoothly.
Undoubtedly, the purpose of the drawing is to illustrate that due attention has to be attracted to the fact that cooperation is of great value in reality. With more emphasis put on “building a harmonious society”, people in mounting numbers begin to realize that we should serve each other. Obviously, cooperation is pervasive in nearly every field of our society, which, in a certain sense, should be given deep consideration. It is commonly acknowledged that each member of the team, during the game, must cooperate with his teammates, and otherwise, they would lose the game no matter how skillful each individual player might be.

The vivid picture, to my mind, is urging us to cultivate the awareness of the public that helping each other has always been the traditional virtue of our nation. As the central task of our country is to “build a well-off society in all-round way, more efforts should be made to strengthen the cooperation of people. Only in this way, can we lead a harmonious and happy life.
