These behaviors, structures and functions, evolved gradually by adapting themselves to the changing environment over 350 million years, include olfactory perceptual ability, visual perceptual ability, auditory perceptual ability, motor ability, super perceptual ability, precise structure, etc. Similar phenomena might occur in the universe, thus bionics consisting of mechanical bionic, molecular bionic, energy bionic, information and control bionic are being used in increasing numbers in design. The bionics are complicated, and research on bionics is beginning to primarily employ a sophisticated tool kit to simulate the salient features of insects. However, little summary information on insect bionics is available. In this article, the relationship and application examples between special abilities of insects and bionics technology are reviewed, which will provide a useful reference for researchers. |
