Biography
Zhiji Han received his B.S. in chemistry from Shantou University in China in 2006 and his M.S. degree from the University of San Francisco, CA. He earned his Ph.D. in 2014 from the University of Rochester under the supervision of Profs. Richard Eisenberg and Patrick L. Holland. He is currently a postdoctoral scholar at Caltech.
Biography
Richard Eisenberg is Tracy Harris Professor Emeritus and Professor (Research) at the University of Rochester. He received bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from Columbia University in 1963 and 1967. Eisenberg’s research activities include the photogeneration of hydrogen from water, photoinduced charge separation, luminescent metal complexes, and electrophilic catalysts for electrocyclizations and tandem organic transformations. Eisenberg was the Editor-in-Chief of Inorganic Chemistry during the period 2001–2012 and is a Member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
