Interestingly, both floral buds and flowers were observed in the physiological processes by a part of antioxidant defense capability, which can decrease the content of oxygen free radicals and other oxygen levels. Results show that the floral buds and flowers can be protective cellular functions and antioxidant capacity, may be related to regulation of lipoxygenase enzymes. This is an adaptive nature to ensure some plants survival in the freezing winter. |
