The journal entitled Current Physical Chemistry was launched in January 2011 by Bentham Science The Publishers, publishers of high Impact factor journals such as Current Molecular Medicine (I.F. 4.197), Current Alzheimer Research (I.F. 3.676), Current Cancer Drug Targets (I.F. 4.00). Current Physical Chemistry is now in its fourth successful year and is indexed by MediaFinder®-Standard Periodical Directory, J-Gate.  Please visit the website of Current Physical Chemistry for more information.
Besides publishing regular reviews, the journal also publishes full- or mini-thematic issues, guest edited by eminent scientists, on contemporary topics representing exciting recent developments in the field.  The number of expert contributions varies from 6 to 10 articles for a Full-thematic issue, to 3 to 5 articles for a Mini-thematic issue. It is recommended that only eminent contributing authors are selected, with the majority being from technologically advanced countries. Such thematic issues tend to be very widely read, and usually receive higher citations compared to the regular journal issues published.
It is a pleasure to invite you to submit a proposal for such a theme issue, in a frontier area of your choice, for the Editor-in-Chief’s approval, to thematicissue@benthamscience.org Your proposal should contain your CV and a complete list of publications, a 100-words abstract highlighting the current importance of your selected topic, a list of names and affiliations of contributing authors, titles of proposed articles, and a tentative submission deadline. Alternatively, you may want to consider submitting a review article to the journal.
Guest Editors of thematic issues will be entitled to an honorarium of US$ 400 per thematic Issue containing a minimum of 100 printed pages and a free copy of the printed issue. Each corresponding author will receive five free e-prints of the published article. Guest Editors will also receive a free online subscription to any three selected Bentham journals from the (List) for one calendar year. Multiple issue copies may be ordered by Guest Editors and contributing authors at discounted rates. All submitted proposals and manuscripts will be peer reviewed prior to a possible decision on acceptance for publication.
