WACV 2015:IEEE winter Conference on Application of Computer Vision

WACV is the IEEE’s and the PAMI-TC’s premier meeting on applications of computer vision. It is a full-fledged IEEE conference which covers all areas of computer vision. WACV2015 will be held January 6-8, 2015 at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, Big Island, Hawaii. Paper submissions will be reviewed in two rounds with submission deadlines June 15th and September 20th. Special sessions on real time systems, big data and a PhD forum are planned. Computer vision applications leaders will be invited for presenting challenging problems. Demonstrations are encouraged with the posters. Additionally, there will be demonstrations from industry and universities. Challenge workshops and tutorials are also planned. Every year new Computer Vision innovations come out from academia and industry, and are subsequently proven to be effective for real world systems. This is due to the great efforts put by a diverse group of people who develop a wide variety of practical applications. This conference will provide a forum to share and expose the latest contributions and recent developments to the computer vision community. Topics of interest for computer vision applications include: Early and Biologically-Inspired Vision Segmentation and Grouping Object Recognition Scene Understanding Statistical Methods and Learning Performance Evaluation 3-D modeling Motion/Stereo Processing and Augmented Reality Bio-imaging/Imaging Bioinformatics Big Data and Vision Applications Analysis of Scientific Data Biometrics Document Analysis Image/Video Indexing and Retrieval Remote Sensing Real-time Tracking Face Detection and Recognition Gesture/Hand Recognition Human Motion Analysis/Capture Action Recognition Human-Computer Interaction Security/Surveillance Vision for Robotics Industrial Inspection Computational Photography Vision for Graphics The workshop will also host a demonstration session. The WACV proceedings will be published electronically and indexed in IEEE Xplore. https://wacv2015.org/ |
