Secretary In addition to being able to handle common tasks such as word processing, letter writing, dealing with telephone and email requests, creating and maintaining filing systems, keeping minutes, arranging meetings and appointments and organizing travel for staff, the candidate must have a strong environmental science background and the ability to translate research literature from Chinese to English and vice versa. Salary rate: TBD Hours: Full-time. Job duties and requirements: 1. Fluent in both Chinese and English is essential 2. Strong environmental science background 3. Strong listening and comprehension skills 4. Strong written and oral communication skills 5. Being involved in decision-making processes 6. Bachelor’s degree is required 7. Maintaining and updating websites and internal databases 8. Managing and maintaining budgets, as well as invoicing 9. Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases 10. Liaising with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation 11. Organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information 12. Attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes 13. Arranging both in-house and external events Experience: 1.
