| Variety identification has been a key step in the production as the widely promotion of new hybrid sunflowers. Traditional method of purity appraisal refers to field planting and telling apart different varieties by morphological characteristics . In recent years, breeding technology continues to develop, and morphological characteristics of different assortments gradually converges,in this case, it becomes more difficult to distinguish them by the morphological characteristics. SSR (Simple Sequence Repeats) is a DNA molecular markers developed in recent years, and the most obvious advantage is that differences in the length of single bases can be observed in the gel block while the amplified product is separated by electrophoresis of polyacrylamide gel. The amplification of the SSR fragment shows high polymorphism, in that a lot of genetic information can be obtained from the experimental results, and the stability and reproducibility proves to be quite good. Therefore, SSR is an ideal marker for detecting the purity of sunflowers. In this study, we examined all DNA extracted from the sunflower, PCR amplification, electrophoresis and other aspects, and then filtered and repeated 40 pairs of SSR molecular markers using new Kwai 19 as the material. At last, we obtained the SSR 399 primer which can tell male parent, female parent and hybrid species apart .
