澳洲土木工程博士研究生奖学金

Department of Civil Engineering Curtin University, Perth, Australia PhD Student Scholarship – Civil Engineering- Structural Health Monitoring/Smart Materials 3 years, fixed term, full-time Annual stipend ($33,000 tuition fees + $25,000 living allowance) Currently two PhD research student scholarships are available now in the School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University, Australia. The scholarship will cover a three year stipend (($33,000 tuition fees + $25,000 living allowance). Successful candidates can start anytime until the positions are filled. They will work with Prof. Hong Hao and Dr. Jun Li in the areas of structural dynamics and health monitoring on an Australian Research Council (ARC) Early Career Researcher Award project, “Development of a Self-powered Wireless Sensor Network from Renewable Energy for Integrated Structural Health Monitoring and Diagnosis”. The research topic will include, but not limited to, Structural Health Monitoring, Damage Identification of Structures, Condition Assessment of Bridges, Sensor Development and Application, Smart Materials, Energy Harvesting, SHM-based Reliability and Service Life Analysis. The supervisors will work with the candidate to identify the most suitable topic based on his/her academic interests and background. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Bachelor degree (first class honours or upper second class honours) in Civil Engineering or related fields, and other general admission requirements provided at http://research.curtin.edu.au/guides/hdrguidelines/admission.cfm and language requirement (IELTS, Overall 6.5, Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening 6.0; or TOEFL, 570 paper based, 230 computer based or 92 internet based (23 each section)) at http://international.curtin.edu.au/local/docs/PGEnglishEntryReqs.pdf. Applicants with Master degrees with technical publications and research experiences in structural dynamics, health monitoring and smart materials are preferred.
