Rice starch spherules were produced by spray drying, with and without the addition of gelatine as bonding agent, using a commercial source of starch (Remy Industries, Belgium) containing 10.6 ¡À 0. 8% of water,0.6 ¡À 0.1% of protein, 0.006 ¡À 0.008% of total fat and 28.0 ¡À 0.4% of amylase. Feed suspension was prepared with 20% of rice starch, and 1% of gelatin, if added, according to the procedure described by Beirão da Costa et al. (2011). |
