The results indicated that both treatments with or g anic manure and chemical fertilizers increased total Se £¬ £¨ HA + FA £© Se and KH 2 PO 4 -extractable Se contents £¬ the ratios of £¨ HA + FA £© Se and KH 2 PO 4 -extractable Se to total Se of arable la y er soil £¬ and the Se contents in g rain and straw of rice. In addition £¬ the treatment with chemical fertil- izers increased the ratio of FA Se to £¨ HA + FA £© Se while the treatment with or g anic manure increased the ratio of HA-Se to £¨ HA + FA £© Se. Effects of fertilization on Se forms and their contents of various horizons in soil p ro- files were related to leachin g stren g th of p add y soil.
