the better way to learn is to review

Recently, with increasing awareness that the ability to study was getting worse, especially always forgetting what I had saw and learned, I found no further review may take a primary responsibility, so I wanna try and improve my study to consolidate my learning in this way, taking notes everytime I study the open course - positive psychology. All the following is just my interpretation about some concepts and opinions after digesting the material on class. What is positive psychology? Positive psychology mainly focuses on the essential property of human beings, such as optimistic, belief in ourselves, helping other people. There are three forces in psychology. The first force is behaviorism, which regards a person as a collect showing a certain series of actions in a biological sense. The second is psychoanalysis studying understandings through subconscious. Humanistic psychology is the last one, which came as a reaction to the above opinions, believing we, as human beings, are needed to be given more freedom and dignity rather than just in a biological or subconsciously sense. Positive psychology is a branch of humanistic psychology. The aim of positive psychology In the teacher's words, it is a field bridging the gap between ivory tower and mainstreet. With so many thesis and research on this topic, so many people in modern times pursuing happiness, however, there is no an effective way to help those who need guide through the research results up to now. So positive psychology is a science that works in our daily life. How does positive psychology work? Here is a metaphor on the class: we take in a lot information everyday through a container, just imaging us as a container, the shape of which decides how we perception and understand these information. Positive psychology performs transformation, changing the shape of the container. The best way to exemplify is about optimist and pessimist. The same objective information leads to the very different interpretation. A quote for sharing, happiness is much more contingent on our state of mind than our status or the state of our bank accountant. Join this class, there is more charm that I can express! I'm sure you'll also get benefit from it. |
