Below are one  Environmentalists's POST .Unfortunately it's written by a American who live in China instead of a Chinese.

Most of what you can do to help the environment involves all sorts of little every day things:
**Reduce** Reduce the amount of things you consume, buy, etc. Do you really need to buy that new _______? Just think that everything you buy or use has to come from somewhere. Lots of energy and resources go into making all the things we buy and use, so the less we use the less energy and resources get wasted.
**Reuse** Reuse things instead of throwing them out. Use chopsticks that can be washed and used again rather than constantly using and throwing out wooden ones. Bring your own container to restaurants instead of using and throwing out styrofoam ones. Bring cloth shopping bags when you go shopping instead of using plastic ones. If you do use plastic ones, keep reusing them instead of throwing them out.
**Recycle** Recycle cans, plastic, glass, scrap metal, and (where available) paper, cardboard, and newspaper. For every recyclable item you throw into the garbage space is being taken up in a landfill (if it's lucky enough to make it there) and new resources will be mined/cut down/manufactured to replace it.
**Save energy when you can** Turn off lights and the TV when you aren't in the room, don't leave your computer on for days at a time if it's not being used, etc. The energy we use is produced by coal power plants. Massive amounts of coal are burned at these power plants and the thick smoke is sent straight into the air, raising carbon dioxide levels and making the air quality poor.
**Change your eating habits** Buy "green" or organic food. If you support farmers that don't use pesticides and chemicals, then you are helping ensure those chemicals stay out of the ground and drinking water, not to mention the food you eat. Eat less meat. One kilo (kg) of meat costs much more resources to produce than one kilo (kg) of grains, fruits, or vegetables.
**Don't litter** Don't throw trash or rubbish on the streets, but wait until you find a trashcan and throw it away there. Trash easily gets blown into rivers, lakes, bushes and other vegetation, etc. Wildlife can accidentally eat trash and get sick or die. You can even go beyond not littering, and even pick up trash or litter if you see it as you are walking past.
**Don't use a car** Walk, ride a bike, take public transportation. Try to avoid using mopeds, scooters, and cars which pollute the air and raise carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere.
