It depends on specific conditions. for a technical work. maybe IQ is more important, after all, you can do nothing if you don't have the point. but if for a non-technical work. EQ is more important as it will help you deal with things more conveniently especially in the modern times. you must show yourself to others. otherwise nobody has the time to identify capable people, Do you agree with me or not.
