钟龙华博士，分别在2000，2003和2006年获得香港科技大学一级荣誉学士，硕士和博士学位，师从吴云东教授，研究金属催化反应机理。2006年到京都大学福井謙一記念研究中心諸熊奎治(Morokuma Keiji)教授研究组，使用多尺度模拟方法研究复杂体系，常与世界一流实验组合作，积累了丰富独立设计课题能力。本人长期研究有机金属、生物酶和光生物光化学反应机制，在国外期刊上发表26篇 SCI篇论文【包括11 篇JACS（含第一作者和通讯作者）和1篇Wiley跨学科综述】和3篇Wiley书籍章节。论文被ISI他人引用超过540余次（H-index: 15）。在氢硅化/炔烃插入（吴-Trost机理）、色氨酸双加氧酶、萤火虫发光机理和荧光蛋白等研究中，提出了新的反应机理。同时参与开发和应用新的非绝热分子动力学模拟方法，研究光生物体系的光动力学过程。

2013年10月受聘于南方科技大学化学系副研究员, 课题组长，计划建立一个高质量高水平的研究组，同时与北京大学深圳研究生院计算化学与药物设计重点实验室有紧密的交流、合作和培育，以及与世界一流的研究组合作和交流访问。目前计划招聘数名研究助理/实验员，欢迎有志于从事复杂系统模拟研究、追求学术卓越、勇于接受挑战并攻读博士学位优秀人才加入。南科大正申请研究生招生点，批准后，研究助理原则上可转为研究生。
