[求助] 关于ZnO光电性质的审稿意见回复,专业外虫虫求大神解答!!!

小虫近期在JES上投了一篇文章,收到审稿人意见,因为本身不是学光电的,实在不知如何回复,求专业大神解答!!!

具体体系相当于在金属锌的表面镀ZnO,放在NaCl溶液中,进行紫外照射,发现锌的电位升高,应该如何解释电位升高现象?
我本来解释如下:紫外光照射时,ZnO中电子受到激发,从价带跃迁到导带,产生电子-空穴对。键带弯曲,电子-空穴对分离,由于此时锌基体的电位仍然负于ZnO的导带电位,使得从电子-空穴对中分离出的电子无法迁移到锌基体表面,只能在腐蚀产物/电解质界面发生反应;而价带上留下了具有强氧化性的空穴,与锌基体发生反应,夺取锌基体的电子,加速锌基体腐蚀。

审稿人意见(怕翻译有误,附原文):
To me, comparisons of energy levels of electrons in the CB or VB with Ecorr or reversible potential can only tell if electrons will involve in the corresponding electrochemical reactions. It is different than determination of the direction of how electrons or holes drift. For example, in this paper, energy level of electrons in CB of ZnO is lower than the energy level of electrons in the Zinc oxidation reaction. Therefore, electrons in CB cannot result in oxidation of Zn. However, electrons in CB can still certainly drift back to Zn substrate as long as it is an ohmic junction between ZnO/Zn and Fermi level of Zn is lower than CB of ZnO, which is very likely.
Authors  need to explain why OCP increased under illumination.
