| 大神求助，小弟第一篇SCI，投的Springer的Journal of Materials Science，现在状态是Under Consideration，但是日期发生了变化，请问这是什么意思啊，谢各位大神了 |

这个杂志我也投过。这个状态的意思就是开始评价你的文章了。这时会有三种情况： 一是编辑觉得不行，直接拒。 二是编辑觉得OK，就会让一些大众评审进行投票和评分。如果你的文章得到足够高的分数，才会进入第三种情况，即送审。 很遗憾，我投的两篇文章都没过第二关，直接投票否决了。 祝楼主好运。 我收到的最终决定是这样的： Dear XX: The recent increases in the impact factor for the Journal of Materials Science have led to a rise in submissions to over 5000 per year. The Editors have thus adopted a preliminary screening process for all unsolicited submissions. All new manuscripts are evaluated against criteria that include: fit with the mission statement of the journal, perceived quality and novelty of the work, potential interest to the readership of JMS, and presentation (adherence to Author Instructions, standard of written English, and quality of figures). As a result of this screening review, we decline about 50% of submissions without further review. This process reduces the burden on our external peer reviewers and gives authors of less suitable manuscripts prompt feedback so that they may seek a more appropriate place to publish their work. I regret to inform you that your submission did not receive a high enough rating in the screening process to be considered further. It is our sincere hope that this rapid editorial decision will enable you to submit the manuscript for publication elsewhere and will not delay the dissemination of your work unduly. Please note that, due to the large numbers of manuscripts involved, we are not able to reconsider manuscripts declined during screening, nor are we able to enter into correspondence regarding the screening process.
