Position: Scientist -Technical Service, Pharmaceutical Location: Shanghai Number of vacancies: 1 Type of employment: Full Time Educational background: MS or PhD Years of experience: 7 - 10 years English requirement: Fluent Job Objective: - Interact with customers at various levels of technical and business proficiency Job Description: - In-house “hands on” solid dosage form development work and customer problem solving in applications like tableting, granulation, film coating and modified release formulations. (Technical Service Requests and Applications Studies). - Hands on experience in solubilization techniques such as hot melt extrusion and spray drying. - “Hands on” work at the customer site (trial support and trouble shooting). - Direct and indirect customer interaction in support of existing and new products through technical consultation, trial support, preparing and delivering presentations to customers, professional organizations and trade shows. Also preparing “White Papers” for publication. - Significant domestic travel is expected. Typically 20-30% of the time. Required Qualifications: - MS or PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or science related capability to work in hands on role in a pharmaceutical technology lab, mechanical aptitude and some lifting required. - “Hands-on” solid dosage form development experience, including tableting, granulation, film coating, modified release formulations, hot melt extrusion and spray drying techniques. - Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to team work. - Good scientific writing and presentation skills. - In addition to Mandarin-English proficiency is a MUST - Confident and capable public speaker . - Comfortable working in a multi-cultural and international environment. - Prior experience in customer service or some role involving close work with customers. - 7 to 10 years working experience in the pharmaceutical or excipients industry. 如有意向请于2014年2月28日之前联系 孙先生 richie_sun@sina.com |
