【英语写作第一期作业】Chat with friends on Internet.

呵呵，交作业了~~~ Internet, as a newly developed communication method, attracted the young generations all around the world. Almost all of my friends,classmates and colleagues using internet as a chatting tool or at least have the internet chatting experience.And some even make out on the internet.  There are many ways that you can use to chat with your friends on internet, the first and also the oldest one is BBS, later developed into forum where you can share your opinions and feelings with your friends,though it is not like other realtime chatting method, we can consider it a way of chat. Then we come to "Chat room" period,I remeber when the first year I entered into college, I was crazy about chatting with friends using chat room and almost fail the final exam.The third one and the one we use most frequently is IM software. ICQ,QQ,Messenger and so on, this is the most convient way to chat with friends on internet and we can use different media to do this. Text, audio and even video, I often chat with my parents who lived far away from me using QQ , and we can talk like "face to face". Althoug the internet bring us incredible convience when we communicating with others. There are certain side effects that we should take an eye on. First is virus, there are many virus and worms using IM software as a spreading media.And if you don't pay enough attention on this, your personal information will be easily stolen. Second is net addiction, the new internet breed a new group of people called "net worm". They spend too much time on the internet and cause serious social problems. The last one is moral standard descending on the internet. Because people don't use their real names on the internet, so they don't take responsiblity on what they said. I am very upset by seeing people slang to each other on the chat room or a forum. This really hurts. To solve the problem, we should not depend on the govenment, we should not depend on the moderator, and we should not depend on anyone else but ourselves.And I believe by behave ourselves, we can creat a better cyberspace than ever! 拙笔，还请大家多多帮助批阅！  [ Last edited by leojackson on 2008-1-14 at 15:51 ] |
