最近在Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry上投了一篇稿件，因为格式问题被退回来要求重新提交，可是有些问题还是不明白，麻烦有经验的虫友指教一下！下面是主编回复的邮件 If you choose to resubmit, please mention your previous manuscript by JF# in your cover letter, and include an itemized list of changes addressing reviewer comments. A special link to be used when you resubmit can be found on your Paragon Plus homepage, under the heading "Revisions and Resubmissions Requested by Editorial Office". When submitting your revised manuscript, please be sure the following points are addressed: Manuscript Format: Manuscripts are to be double-spaced and line-numbered. A separate summary or conclusion section is not to be used; any concluding statements are to be incorporated under Results and Discussion. Please make sure to remove any track changes, highlights, comments or font colors in your manuscript file. TOC Graphic: The TOC graphic must be included. Authors of research articles, perspectives, and reviews are required to include a suitable graphic for publication in the table of contents (TOC) in the Web edition of the Journal. This graphic should capture the reader’s attention and, in conjunction with the manuscript’s title, give the reader a quick visual impression of the type of chemistry described. The TOC graphic may be up to 4.7 in. (12.0 cm) wide and 1.8 in. (4.6 cm) tall. (See detailed instructions at the Paragon Plus Web site.) Text should be limited to labels for compounds, reaction arrows, and figures. The use of color to enhance the scientific value is encouraged. The TOC graphic should be inserted on a separate page at the end of the manuscript file. 问题： 1、“If you choose to resubmit, please mention your previous manuscript by JF# in your cover letter, and include an itemized list of changes addressing reviewer comments.”这句话是什么意思呢？ 2、文章编号的问题，是从题目开始编起吗？ 3、图和表的名称要在文章中单独列一页？ 4、TOC Graphic 这部分不明白它的要求 哪位虫友有最近的模板啊？可否发给我参考一下！第一次投经验不足，现在因为格式的问题被退回肯定要被老板批了， 急需帮助!不胜感激！ |

1. 如果你选择重投，在cover letter告诉编辑你之前被拒稿那篇论文的编号，并且提交文件中要包括你如何针对审稿人意见修改的说明 2. 你给的英文没说编号的问题，文章的编号是由杂志给的，作为识别文章的代码，和你没关系；如果是文档中加入行号，直接在页面设置里弄一下就好 3. 你给的英文里没提图表的问题，可能是图表符合规范，最好看下guide for authors 4. TOC是图文摘要，用来最短时间吸引读者兴趣的东西，一般可以是论文中最核心部分的展示，或者是最重要的结论以图形方式描述。告诉你TOC的格式，并且放在正文的最后一页单独放置 信里还提到文中不要有总结，总结应该包括在结果和讨论部分体现。移除正文不必要的格式设置 楼主投稿前好好看看指南，对自己稿子负责编辑和审稿人才会对你负责。如果一页看到三四处文法或者格式错误，这样的论文谁都不想好好看了 |
