Maybe life is lonely itself sometimes

2014.1.5 sunshine Today I take a phone with my grandpa, how I wish I could be at home, and with him. But we can't. Since my grandma died three years ago, my grandpa stays in village alone, without other partner, and doesn't want to move out. We study or work in the cities, my father and uncle usually drive back home once a month. But most of the time, my grandpa is lonely. We all love him, but we can't always accompany him. We can't give that kind of love or closeness my grandma once gave him. Maybe life is lonely itself sometimes. It's hard to make the life full... My grandpa is one of the person I love most in the world, I want to make him pround and feel warm. I will work hard to make him and the people love me pround. |

That's typical in rural areas. When my grandpa was in his eighties, my brother, who went to school in my hometown, told me in his letter that, my grandpa scolded the dog, the chickens and our cousin. Yes, people often live a lonely life when they become old. We should try our best to help them live a better, and happy life. |

maybe your grandpa is satisfied with his living condition, for he having a lovely family. alone but not lonely! do you know what i say? elders together in rural sometimes are the happiest people! what you now should do is to play a granddaughter' part, not so clingy that he can recover his emotion quickly when alone! elders need solitude to recall his whole life, to find the essence belongs only to himself! that's Divine Will! |

Proud may be meaningless, but if we live a better life, the old will feel contented and no need to worry about young. I have a good and normal family, my father and uncles drove back home every month to spend days with my grandpa. There still to many days he is alone maybe lonely at home... |

Maybe I can't reach your meaning,by the way ,what do you mean at your last sentense?And I can't find the translation of the word' pround',or it is proud instead? SORRY!getting far away from your topic! That's true you love your grandpa very well,but there so many old people live lonely as him in the China. And things what we can do is really few,but try your best to do what you can,maybe that's enough. |
