Good to see you here discussing about Malaysia, my beloved country. Well, I born in Butterworth, which is my hometown and a state of Penang. According to what your friend said, most Chinese are Christians is not true at all. Technically we can say that most Chinese in Malaysia are buddhist, but of course there are Christians among them. Chinese Christian starts to grow in population recently, especially at the south path of Malaysia (fyi: sabah and sarawak). If you discussing about religions in Malaysia, be sure that you are not criticizing any of the religion because most of the believers will refute you. In bad case they will blame you also. Anyway, discussing about religions isn't that bad, but most of them couldn't accept when the other is holding different kind of view. It's true that most Malays and Indians do not use toilet paper. Another interesting is usually they use a pipe that connected to a tap to wash. |
