第一次投这个杂志，看了主页的Guide for Authors，还是有几个地方不明白，希望知道的虫友指点一下，谢谢哈！ 1. 图片和表格是各自作为单独文件上传吗？图释和表释也是单独上传吗？下面是杂志的原话： Figures and tables embedded in text Please ensure the figures and the tables included in the single file are placed next to the relevant text in the manuscript, rather than at the bottom or the top of the file. 另外一段话是这样的： Article structure Follow this order when typing manuscripts: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Main text, Acknowledgements, Appendix, References, Figure Captions Tables. 还有一段话是这样： Figure captions Ensure that each illustration has a caption. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep text in the illustrations themselves to a minimum but explain all symbols and abbreviations used. 感觉有些矛盾啊，不懂，求解释！ 2. Guide for Authors里面没有要求写cover letter 和Highlights，但是看最近快要出版的文章里面都只有Highlights，没有cover letter ，那我也只写Highlights 会不会对文章接受有影响呢？ |
