Please not send the email to me because I just help my friend. Postddoctoral Position in Bioinorganic Chemistry. We have recently demonstrated the use of novel mixed-metal binuclear ruthenium(II)-cobalt(II) complexes for the artificial photosynthetic synthesis of hydrogen from acidic acetonitrile. A postdoctoral position is available to investigate the mechanism of the use of novel mixed-metal binuclear ruthenium(II)-cobalt(II) complexes for the production of hydrogen in acidic aqueous media. To be highly competitive for this position, candidates should have a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry, with basic research experiences in either of the following areas: analytical (inclusive of electrochemical, ESI MS, the use of a GC, and NMR spectroscopy) and/or physical chemistry, spectroscopy of materials, and the syntheses of ligands for coordination to transition metals. Interested candidates should submit their CV and three letters of references to Dr. Alvin A. Holder at the address listed below or via email (aholder@odu.edu).
