Recommend a TV drama

Today I want to recommend you guys a TV drama called Redfern Now. After watching it some days ago, I just cannot help recommending it to my friends. The reason it being so good is that it shows people a different Australia.  For most people, when the topic about Australia is brought up, the first thing they think up tend to be sunshine, kangaroo, koala, mining industry, over-paid labor, wealthy country, good welfare system, sunscreen & cosmetics, and so on. This TV drama depicts some social conflicts and the typical life of people living in Redfern, an area in inner Sydney center.  Redfern is having a unique position in the whole Australia because of its high aboriginal concentration and population. Aborigines are a special group of people in Australia. They used to be the owner of this old continent, but now they are constantly being expelled by many in this young nation. This group is under great disadvantage in some aspects (broke, alcohol abuse, gambling, chronic disease, drug abuse, discrimination etc.)  Some in them are always thinking about a service of revenge towards Australia the nation.
