The reviewers feel that the paper is unsuitable for publication in its present form, and that substantial revisions are necessary before the paper could be reconsidered for publication. We therefore feel unable to proceed with publication at this stage.

The study was well-documented with convincing experimental evidence and detailed analysis. This work offers a new substitute Hg ion detection method that can favor a series of environmental applications. This reviewer suggests publish it after: 1) further polishing the languages and 2) enlarging Scheme 1 to improve the text clearance”。
