Dear All, We would call your attention to our Special Issue on "Epigenetic Mechanisms in Cardiovascular Disease" (http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/si/424868/cfp/), which will be published in the "BioMed Research International (formerly titled Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology)" (ISSN online: 1110-7243), a peer-reviewed open access journal, and the most recent Impact Factor is 2.88 according to 2012 Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Reuters (ISI) in 2013. Wecordially invite you to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that report the epigenetic mechanisms behind CVD related to inherited risk factor and environmental stimuli through our Online Submission System (http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/bmri/cardiology/epig/). Papers focusing on the epigenetic strategies for prevention and therapy of CVD will be also welcomed. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Epigenetic mechanisms for dysregulation of CVD-related genes. Epigenetic changes induced by prenatal or postnatal environmental factors (e.g., nutrition and smoking). Identification of epigenetic biomarkers associated with CVD risk. The effects of common medications for CVD on epigenetic modification. Identification of functional epigenetic modulators. Use of epigenetic drugs for prevention or therapeutic intervention of CVD. Animal model development for studying epigenetic mechanisms in CVD. |
